Steve Newman was a teacher and track coach for 51 years and dedicated his life to helping students and athletes, from mentoring, to providing less fortunate students creative ways of finding avenues to a better education that would change their future. He was able to see and bring out the potential in these students and help them to navigate all the paperwork and financial red tape. His kindness and generosity have changed lives for many. 

The goal of this foundation is to keep doing what Steve Newman selflessly did, Help students-in-need. Help that could include anything from; a tutor in H.S., a transfer to a private H.S, assistance with books/tablets, help getting into a Trade School or College, to just a Bus or Train pass to get to classes. Whatever is needed to ensure the student can get to class and thrive. Every student’s needs are different, that’s where the Stephen J. Newman Foundation can really assist, by not just handing out scholarships to college, but helping all kids see that they have a bright future.
