Daniel lost his battle with a rare and aggressive autoimmune disease on July 1, 2024. Dan was a scientist and entrepreneur with a heart of gold who invented biomedical devices to help improve and extend lives. We know he’d want to continue doing good for others. This fund will focus on supporting research and advocacy related to Vasculitis and strokes – and will support patients and families dealing with journeys similar to what Dan and his family endured. The fund may also broadly support causes aligned with Daniel’s lifetime of service and good work.
