This donation link is specifically for the University of San Francisco (UCSF) Vasculitis Registry, which was started by Dan’s fund last year in partnership with Dan’s doctors at UCSF. As Dr. Douglas described: Our vision for this vasculitis registry is twofold. First, we will collect blood and other biospecimens from participants with vasculitis and leverage the research infrastructure at UCSF to use cutting edge techniques to understand the immunological basis of nervous system vasculitis. Second, once we demonstrate our registry's success at UCSF, we will invite neurohospitalist partners at other institutions with robust inpatient neurology programs, such as Stanford and Johns Hopkins, to contribute participants.
